Just announced:
Tyler Perry's new 34th Street Films has purchased its first property - an as-yet-untitled feature pitch from the writing team of Jennifer Heath and Michele J. Wolff ("Ella Enchanted"). The storyline is being kept under wraps, according to Variety. But the shingle's president Ozzie Areu described it as "the ideal launch for our company, speaking to a mainstream audience while appealing to the sentiment of Tyler's loyal demographic." Perry formed 34th Street Films last fall to produce projects under his banner but written and directed by outside talent.

If you can look any of these folks up, you could probably get some info:
Tyler Perry has opened a new division called 34th Street Films. It will operate under Atlanta, GA based Tyler Perry Studios and will focus on developing projects written and directed by talent other than Perry. The division will be headed by Matt Moore, with Poppy Hanks and Amber Rasberry. The 34th Street offices will be located in Los Angeles. Little Airplane Productions, the New York animation boutique known for the Nickelodeon series 'The Wonder Pets', is expanding into features films. Tyler Perry Studios has formed 34th Street Films to produce projects under the Tyler Perry brand while focusing on projects written and directed by outside talent. Matt Moore will head the division and serve as Executive Vice President Production and Development, Poppy Hanks as Vice President Production, and Amber Rasberry as Creative Executive. Tyler Perry Studios renewed their first look deal for three more years with Lionsgate last July. Rick Schwartz, a former production exec at Miramax and Graham King’s IEG, has launched Overnight Productions. The private, equity backed, New York based company has a stake in Toronto selection ‘The Lucky Ones’ and upcoming Lindsay Lohan picture ‘Labor Pains’.
