How many of you landed your manager off of a Cold Query?

I don't think that's the best approach. One script at a time is the way to go. They need to look at a logline and know in 3 seconds whether they're interested in reading the script. And it's obvious to any rep why you're querying them... Whether they decide to rep you or just your script is up to them.

Finally, "seeking management to help secure representation..." is redundant. Management and representation are the same thing...

I got 16 reads off a cold query for my latest script -1 agent, 5 production companies (although 2 were already familiar with my work) and 10 managers. I did get representation for the script but we parted ways after a few months.
