Default Scenario

Has anyone heard of Scenario? They are a new lit management/prod co. So far they seem really reasonable, straightforward, and nice, but just curious as to if anyone on here has had dealings with them. Thanks guys!

Never dealt with them nor heard of then before now, but supposedly it's "run by former MP/TV lit agents (ICM, APA, & Innovative) and studio/production co. development execs" and located Mid-Wilshire. But I can't find anywhere that says who exactly those so called agents and executives are. And the only "Scenario" I can find on IMDB is Scenario USA which has a slew of projects listed, but they're all in the 30-50k range.

I'd just suggest you search on IMDB Pro and Google for whomever you are actually dealing with and see if they have any legitimate credits and/or a resume that suggests they are in fact connected in a real way to help you move forward. A resume, or lackthereof, is the most important thing when deciding if a person or company is worth your time doing business with.

Absolutely. You found the same info that I found too. I'll see if I can uncover anything else. Thanks!

Ah, there we go! Interesting. Some have little info anywhere, some have decent resumes. So I'd say it can't hurt to pursue any relationship you're developing with them further and see what happens.

Lousy question.

I wrote an email asking them for info on their submissions policy due to the instructions on their website. Did anyone else do that or did they just submit a general query to these guys at their "representation" address?

Not sure what to tell you. I haven't been talking to them about representation (strangely)... They haven mentioned that they are focusing on new writers though so maybe if you don't hear back? Again, all indications point towards them being decent human beings. Good luck Gunshark

What I meant was if you have to send for instructions on how to submit to them first.

It's strange, but on their website they don't tell you to send your queries. They tell you to wait for instructions.

Yeah, I believe the MAK company does the same thing. What I meant was that maybe if you don't hear back about your instruction e-mail after a week or so then to go ahead and send out your query. Seems to me that if they request an instruction e-mail first and don't respond, that is pretty much your only other option... Or you could try calling them and asking for instructions over the phone?
