Has Amazon Studios actually produced anything?
I know they've done a few shorts, but have they released any features?

According to IMDb they have 3 in production and 5 in development. Nothing completed.

LauriD just won $20,000 -- she's on a cruise in the Mediterranean... celebrating.
check out the thread in the contest section. AS is financing 2 "test" films for $50,000 each and have 2 or 3 made themselves. One of them from Lauri's script... and it wasn't even her script. She rewrote someone else's script. |

I believe they do pay $20,000 a month to the "best script of the month." They are also going to award $1 million to the best homemade film, but I don't know if that has been announced yet.
