While it isn't right, I can't imagine they have a shred of a case. It is pretty well established that there isn't a shred of honesty associated with these shows. If everything from story lines to the very final outcomes are manipulated, they pretty well have license to do whatever they want and just say they are catering to who they think their audience is and what they prefer. IMO African Americans should just consider themselves lucky that they have not been diminished by showing up on them, as Italian-Americans have been by being cast on Jersey Shore and Mob Wives.

It's a stupid case.

Every season there are men and women of every ethnicity hoping to get a rose. They haven't been excluded from the show.

The actual Bachelor and Bachelorette are chosen from the final contestants of previous seasons. Whoever was popular with the audience.

Yes. I've actually watched the show.

Agreed. I would never watch the show, but the absence seems to be a blessing in disguise. Reality TV and ethnic groups aren't friends I don't think.

On a similar note, I have a friend employed as a paparazzo who says he gets little to no money for submitting pics of black stars, no matter how famous, so he doesn't bother snapping them anymore-- and he says they love him to death for it.

I think the novelty has worn off.

It is highly unlikely, but you would hope that the same little or no money offer environment remained in place, and the end result was newspaper web sites devoid of ****ing Kardashians.

Wasn't there a reality show w/ Whitney Houston & Bobby Brown?

You know...not every black person is African, or American...

Yeah. I'm sure Australian Aborigines and India Indians are thinking, WTF! What color are we?

To which I reply, your ethnicity is chocolate mocha. Sorry guys. Better luck next time. When you land a Kardashian we'll reevaluate this issue.

There has certainly been more than Whitney and Bobby Brown on, minorities have just been lucky they have not showed up in a number of shows that pulled in big numbers. I guess the people bringing the suit feel deprived of the opportunity to be portrayed as a moron and want to join the club.
