Hm. My script on regular template comes in at 122 pgs.
On Cole and Haig it's 117. Mostly because Cole and Haig lets the dialogue line go to nearly 4 inches. Troiter says dont let your dialogue go more than 3 1/2 inches. Any advice? (Besides more editing) - Is Cole and Haig ok to use?? |

Set your dialogue lines to allow 38 characters (3.8") and don't worry about Trottier (but still a good reference, by the way) or Cole and Haag. To get 38 characters, you may have to set the line for 39 spaces, because of the way the end-of-line return is handled. Do some experimentation.
Nobody cares about these things, by the way, as long as your lines are in the same general range of recommendations that you find in Trottier and other references. |

Cool. You read a bunch of books and wonder just how anal the whole process is...
For some reason the whole thing is on 40 characters per dialogue line. I'll tool that up and see what happens. I appreciate the good advice comic bent. |
