Nice little story.
Didn't so much follow the great three act structure or the hero's journey stuff. All small stuff, good for me to see how to give the actors' plenty of room. I read a WGA pal's copy with the writer's notes in the back. Was interesting to read how Hedges progressed and changed scenes and dialogue during filiming and editing. Very humble and credited the cast with a lot of improvements. Next, the movie. |

I hear Katie Holmes is super hot in that movie.

I liked this movie. Very subtle, no crazy storylines, a superb cast including Katie Holmes and the dude from 'Will and Grace' who was especially weird in this movie. A good script read as well.
Peter Hedges graduated from NC School of the Arts. I'll put money on a lot more graduates coming from that school and making themselves heard in Hollywood in the next few years. OSCAR: Best Live Action Short 'Two Soldiers' was directed by an NC School of the Arts Graduate as well. Just wait people. Benedict |

Rented it last night. I liked it a lot. Original, quirky, and moving. The ending was pretty much obvious, yet still satisfying.
Oh. And, yes, Katie Holmes was hot (but that's a redundant statement). |
