      I sketch everything out on notebook paper. Every script has it's own notebook. It has to be wide ruled with dark blue lines that I can see, ( I hate those faded lines) and I have to use a gel pen, black ink. I don't have a laptop so this allows me to take my story with me wherever I go. If I get an idea about the story, I just jot it down in the notebook.

      I write my scenes on index cards and tape them on my wall behind my computer so I don't have to do the shuffle thing.

      I write my script at night, it works better for me cause the kids are in bed. I start around nine and just write until I can't keep my eyes open any longer, sometimes that means dawn. ( I get very little sleep). And yes, music is a must, usually something that evokes the tone of the story.
