  • Superimposing pieces of info

I was just curious about something. You know how in some movies they have pieces of information before the first scene? Can I do this right after Fade in:, for example:

    Fade in:

Super: For millions of years man has...

    Int. Earth

    the earth spins.

would this be the way to do it?

You need to tell us what it's super'd over ... so flip them. Also, it's not "INT. EARTH" unless your'e shooting INSIDE the earth, at which point its rotation would not be visible.

Alternatively, you could put the super over black.

    OVER BLACK:

SUPER: For millions of years man has...

    FADE IN:

    EXT. EARTH

The globe rotates on its axis as it has since the dawn of time.

SUPER: ... lived just like the animals.

Int. Earth is almost as good as Int. Space.
