Re: Learning to write ruined me
I've been writing professionally a long time but only now, as I write screenplays, do I actually watch the narrated version of a movie that sometimes comes on DVDs. I think it's fascinating and very helpful to listen to thre comments of directors, actors or critics who provide their insights. I didn't like "A Prairie Home Companion" very much until I listened to Robert Altman and Kevin Kline explain why it was an extraordinary movie.
