I'm not the only one here who builds models of the sets in his screenplay, am I?

Most likely, yes. Sort of cool though, I couldn't make a set of a movie if my life depended on it.

    Theoretically...

Probably. I have no idea what the sets to my scripts even look like - that's not my job. Sometimes I'm a little surprised when I do a set visit. Best set so far - the circular operating room of a closed mental hospital in Alta Dena became a cloning lab for GRID RUNNERS.

Don't worry, I design mock one-sheets and title designs.

          Sanity?

          No, you're not alone.

While browsing thru some eBay listings, I found a model of Bellevue House, (a house built about 1840, that was once the home of Canada's first prime minister, in Kingston). The property is now a historical site, with an adjacent visitor centre and an orchard of large apple trees. Most good photographs of the house were taken about fifty years ago, or earlier, before all of the surrounding trees began to block most of the good views of it. The model, (which I won as the only bidder), will allow me to provide a view of the house, (as it appeared about 150 years ago, front, back, etc.); and, I have a plan to use it for a special effects shot in my film project.
