Love the dialog reports in FD. When I'm at the dialog-polish stage, I print out every character's dialog reports, and work from them. It helps me to see the words out of context, and read everything the character says at once to make sure their voice is consistent.
And if the report says the character speaks most with another character and it's not who you expected, that's good to know too. Obviously, something's up.
But I wouldn't know where to begin thinking about a dialog/action ratio.
