  • Best title you've heard

Without knowing anything about the movie, what was the most intriguing title you've ever heard (you instantly wanted to see it)?

While not quite matching the question (because there's almost nothing I want to see these days)

Years ago I took my wife to the 'traditional' XMas day movie... but what we wanted to see had started 30 mins before we got there. So we chose another movie that sounded good, and that we never heard of, instead of waiting.

Damn good movie it turned out to be.

I remember thinking that A FISTFUL OF DOLLARS was a great title and that FOR A FEW DOLLARS MORE was a dumb title for the sequel.

How surprised I was that I was underwhelmed by the first film and really enjoyed the second.

              Mars Attacks!
              Die Hard
Things To Do In Denver When You're Dead
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
              There Will Be Blood
              Dog Day Afternoon
              Snakes on a Plane
The Curious Case of Benjamin Button
              Dirty Dancing
              Supersize Me
              Disturbia
10 Things I Hate About You
              The Last Samurai
The Day The Earth Stood Still
              Honey I Shrunk The Kids

              Full Metal Jacket

And, of course, Debbie Does Dallas.

                I heard that.

He can't swim in the pond next to the library, though, right? He'd be like this giant duck biting off kids' arms who were feeding him who just got a$$ whoopins for returning overdue books just minutes ago.

He needs like at least the English Channel or Gulf of Mexico to swim, right?

Can you imagine him going in a constant circle in the Gulf of Mexico, barely fitting, bumping into Texas, Florida and Mexico?

While I don't plan on seeing it, I think 30 Days of Night is f*cking brilliant.

"Snakes on a Plane". It made me wonder why they didn't call "Dawn of the Dead" "Zombies in a Mall". lol.

Also, "Die Hard", and subsequently "Live Free or Die Hard".

                      Oh, and "Tokyo Gore Police".

The Italian giallos generally had great titles, like Strip Nude for Your Killer, All the Colors of the Dark, Your Vice is a Locked Room and Only I Have the Key and Lizard in a Woman's Skin.
