I did my first interview as a screenwriter. People will believe anything if you have the right attitude. : )
I interviewed a pet communicator for research for my current psychic thriller. Was really interesting!
Do I believe? Not sure, but my dog liked her.

You needed to research something and you got it done. Whatever works, right? Actually people will probably respond better if you tell them your'e a screenwriter as opposed to say a reporter or something.

Plus your dog liked her, which is good because, as you know, dogs can smell evil from ten yards off.
