Online screenwriting courses?

Are there any legit online courses? It seems to hold true that those who can do, those who can't teach--but! Does anyone know the name of a retired doer who now likes to teach?

UCLA is the premiere sceenwriting school in the USA, so their online program is probably the premiere online program.

A friend of mine just completed the UCLA online certificate program.

I think it consists of 3 consecutive quarters, writing 2 full scripts over the 3 classes.

It's pricey -- $6,000+, I think. If I had the bucks, I'd do it in a heartbeat.

Thanks for the info. I was wondering about that also. I had planned to attend UCLA Extension when I move to LA. I will try to enroll next quarter.
