When I was growing up, I loved the Fistful of Yen in KENTUCKY FRIED MOVIE because the evil character spoke Korean. And while it's probably gibberish to all of you, the evil character was spewing names of Korean dishes when he called on his henchmen to fight our hero.

However, women comprise OVER 50% of the world pop. So we of the female persuasion outnumber Asians.

BTW, this made me laugh, funny-funny:

... the evil character was spewing names of Korean dishes when he called on his henchmen to fight our hero.
Advice from writer, Kelly Sue DeConnick. "Try this: if you can replace your female character with a sexy lamp and the story still basically works, maybe you need another draft.-

Hattori Hanzo just missed my list, as did Beatrix Kiddo from the same movie.

Blimey. You'd think it took them 80 years to come up with any good characters to read these posts. How about...

                  Captain Louis Renault
                  Annie Hall
                  Terry Malloy
                  Norma Desmond
                  Phyllis Dietrichson
                  Col Nicholson
                  Dobbs
                  Rose Sayer
                  Laura Jesson

                    Re: Speak up...

                    John Russell - Hombre
Walter Burns - His Girl Friday
                    Juror #8 - 12 Angry Men

I would've mentioned Asian or women characters, but you guys might get the wrong idea if I mentioned Hop Sing or Emmanuelle.

There's a chance you might have missed my point. Unless you think Mulder is a better character than Norma Desmond.

I would ask, "Mulder who," but I know of the TV show and maybe even a movie with that character.

Anyone can throw a dozen character names at the screen. The trick was to pick three.

Opinions and memories, doc. There's little equity or formula involved in either of them.
