Explain the plot of the script to someone (out loud).
Then write that explanation down on paper.
    Those are your beats.

Bonus points if your beats match up with the Bee Gees' "Stayin' Alive".

is generous advice. Probably the most generous you will receive here.

I think the reason you are not getting satisfactory responses to your questions is that your questions are poorly framed. It's a bit like asking about the meaning of life. (I find your questions are beautiful in that they are so bare of ego and bullshit.) There is a development forum here where you can receive comments or guidance about a particular story you are developing, as long as you share some specifics.

Here is a free resource about the kind of storytelling that you may be interested in (I'm sorta guessing from your posts) that can help, or help more than harm -- I chose this and not others because at least you will be entertained and because the author, while passionate, is not dogmatic:

The OP has removed his question, so I am going to close this thread. I do not even know the details of the original question.

          A couple of comments.

Firing off jokes too early in a thread tends to derail the discussion.

Also, remember that words that you do not weigh carefully can hurt someone's feelings.
