  • How to Format Dialogue When Two Characters are in One Body?

I'm writing a Script in which there are essentially two different characters in one body, so I'm wondering how I can write dialogue when one makes a comment over the other, or when they argue with eachother. (Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde situation)

Whatever's clear is fine. I'd probably go with something like:

    GOOD TONY
    Blah blah blah...

    BAD TONY
    Blah blah blah...

    or

    JACK AS JEKYLL
    Blah blah blah...

    JACK AS HYDE
    Blah blah blah...

or actually, if I was writing Jekyll and Hyde, I'd go with:

    DR. JEKYLL
    Blah blah blah...

    MR. HYDE
    Blah blah blah...

Whatever you do, there's nothing wrong with putting an explanation in the script the first time you do it.
