    approximately, how many pages would a comedic feature film have?

    You're unlikely to get a 150-page comedy script. Although you could argue Wolf of Wall Street was a 180-page comedy.

    I think they err towards shorter (so 90-105ish) but only you know how long your script needs to be to tell its story. Woody Allen tends to do tight, 100-minute comedies; This is 40 was well over two hours. If you can keep being funny for over two hours, go for it.

      Yeah, I think 90 to 100 pages is probably the target range...

      And I've recently bitched about 2 hour comedies that only have 90 minutes of funny in them. Of course, there are also 90 minute comedies that seem to only have five minutes of funny...

        Depends on what type of "comedy", but in general high concept comedy specs are around 90 - 110 pages.

          Another question I have is how common is it for somebody to bounce back and fourth between TV and features?
