EVERYONE...umo just past the excel spread sheet from last year on to me. If you would like a copy simply PM - it's just easier to process requests that way I think. I will get it to you a.s.a.p.

    Thank you.

PLEASE NOTE: the original list was created back in 2006. It has not been updated and may have out-of-date information.

An individual who was voluntarily putting together an updated list in 2009 is no longer doing so. There are no updates currently so please save your requests until that time there are updates.

    ALSO-

A private individual can do whatever they want with their list. It's THEIR list and she can send it out however she likes.

    ALSO-

It's not a good idea to be posting yours or anyone else's e-mail addresses here.

The thread has been cleaned up to avoid future confusion. If you have any questions about managers, please post them in this Agents, Lawyers & Managers Forum. If you have any questions about the board, please contact the admins or moderators. Thanks.

The list is really helpful but really doesn’t account for strength in spite of size. I'd say Key Creatives with client Peter Jackson is likely above Gotham Group who does have a ton of clients in the animation arena but lacks an A list director of Jackson's calibre. Energy has gotten stuff set up but doesnt really have an A list writer. H2F, Hung and Underground really don’t have any A list clients along the lines of Key or Industry or Brillstein. Many firms have some working writers but it’s the ones with a A list writer or more that really have access that can make a career.

Good point - perhaps it's time to take down this sticky and replace it with something more up to date? I certainly I know I wondered in and waded through a monster list that is probably quite dated.

Co's are ranked simply according to number of writer/writer-producer clients on the books, most first. Firms of a similar size are grouped together although the breaks are pretty arbitrary--this is primarily meant as a comprehensive list of all legit lit managers.

There is no other ranking, players might mingle with poseurs, but ALL these firms pass the sniff test (ie the smallest represent at least one screenwriter who also has agency representation or a script set-up someplace real).

There are going to be a few omissions (mostly managers who don't operate from a banner company). That said, if a manager is not listed here, odds are they are predominantly talent or of the "Known Unto God and Inktip" variety, and I would verify them deeper than the HCD (eg Scriptsales and the trades).

    Pls post any missing managers.

    What a great list!

    It's now three years old.

How valid is this list now?

    Thanks.

not sure re Weaver, but he's pretty good. Has sold lots of specs in the past and is not big and crazy like Benderspink or Brillstein as for as client roster.

Kelly at M Management is crazy, do NOT deal with her. She has no pull and is not well respected.

Haven't heard much about Brooklyn Weaver with Energy Entertainment...Does anyone have updated contact information for him? I tried the website but got nowhere with that.
