  • Aaron Sorkin's new show gets picked up by HBO

Congrats to Aaron. I can't wait for his behind-the-scenes cable news show, and I like the cast already: Jeff Daniels, Emily Mortimer and Sam Waterson (He'll be always Jack McCoy to me).

I am inordinately excited about this. Pray to god it makes it to Australia. (Unlike Studio 60...)

Well, he'll always be Nick Carraway to me.

Wasn't Keith Olbermann supposed to be on this show?

I think Sorkin shadowed Olbermann on the Countdown set for research.

Sounds like it's going to be a cross between his Studio 60 and The West Wing. I'm on board.

Also, I think Olbermann wasn't just shadowed, but was being used as a consultant as well for rant-writing. Not positive about that, but I believe I read it.
