I'm not sure if I'm putting this in the right category, so forgive me if I'm wrong .

Would love to get any links for good blogs that you know of. I'm thinking of starting one and want to get a feel for what people are doing, how to best design one, etc. I know many peeps on here use blogs, so would love to see what you guys have got goin' on.

    Thanks!

Make sure you check out La Femme's blog. It's sharp, fun and insightful. I've taken a lot from it - scroll back too. Don't just look at what she's blogging now. There are some really sharp pieces on craft that I especially liked. (See her sig line above.)

              Re: Blogs

              I love LaFemme's blog.

              Content.
              Length.
              Quantity.

Things I look for when I procrastinate and read blogs (thought it doesn't feel like procrastination when I read her posts). Highly Recommended.

And I also enjoy KC's blog. What he can't do - I don't know. I have no doubt as to his future in this business.

                Re: Blogs

Thank you for the compliments, guys! For a long time I figured nobody was reading it but my mom. But I just installed a site meter and found that is far from true. I have readers all over the world! Rouge Wavers unite!

But I must take a moment to give a shout out to Pull Back Reveal, who has been my ad hoc business manager and who has single handedly redesigned the look of the blog (found that cool woodcut graphic, as one example) and who generally kicks my butt on a daily basis in a number of ways and without whom the Rouge Wave-inatrix would be a lot more tired than she already is. Plus he's a good cook and loves his dogs.

I have a couple of blogs too, but will only share one of them with you all:

                  http://outinspace2006.blogspot.com/

It keeps the writing skills up while the fiction part of me is on break.

Since the original post provides no constraints on subject matter, some of the blogs in my Favourites:

                        http://www.littlegreenfootballs.com

                        http://www.armscontrolwonk.com/

                        http://tigerhawk.blogspot.com/

                        Today's post from Tigerhawk:

An elite group of Native American trackers is joining the hunt for terrorists crossing Afghanistan's borders.

The unit, the Shadow Wolves, was recruited from several tribes, including the Navajo, Sioux, Lakota and Apache. It is being sent to Tajikistan and Uzbekistan to pass on ancestral sign-reading skills to local border units....
hmmm.... maybe the best screenwriting blogs aren't actually written by screenwriters.
