John August's blog is awesome, he really is a kind and givng man, he shares his knowledge and his scripts and he seems to have good folk who visit and take part in his community there.

John recently wrote and directed the indie feature THE NINES and made available over 2GB of digital video clips in QuickTime Mov format which members of his community could download, and edit together their own remix of a trailer.

Now who else offers people on the net that kind of fun..

I had a go myself, uploaded it to YouTube!, it was a gas..

The winner gets bragging rights but the winning trailer will be shown at film festivals and may even appear on the released DVD. How cool is that..

but then wouldn't it be more of a BLOGGED, not a blog? I think they wanted more of an ongoing active site, not an archive... but you are right that the info there is worthwhile
