hello everyone,
I excuse if this is not the right room for my question, but I hope it is.
I was recently watching some special attached contents in the dial m for murder dvd by alfred hitchcock, where several filmmakers (well actually there was just one filmmaker) and movie experts commented about the movie and its construction.
there was particularly one who told something about story structure itself.
well, what i would like to ask is simply: is there any book that I can search where hitchcook movies are taken into analysis from a story building or screewriting point of view?
I actually read one few years ago: it was about directing but it provided an indepth inight of notorious from a staging point of view
film directing fundamentals (proferes?)
now: do you happen to know one which can be good from a story point of view?
thanks for now
