Warner Bros Writers Workshop

Hi all -

Anyone else apply to the WB Workshop in the comedy section? Anyone heard any results?

The site says semifinalists will be notified by January 10th, but I'm just digging for info. Also, if anyone has previously participated in either the workshop or even made it to the interview stage, any info about those experiences would be great.

haven't heard anything for comedy yet. was a semi-finalist last year. good advice for the interview...don't be super nervous/sweaty...and try to sound like you know what you're talking about. alas, i haven't made it past the semi's yet...so, what do i know? best of luck.

No word over here either. The site sez notifications would happen by the 10th. A ding letter might take a little longer to reach B.C. but I haven't heard of anyone getting a response, good or bad.

I got the call from Deborah Pearlman today, and I have an interview next week. I'm so excited!

I've met with them on the drama side...they already like your writing, the key is to just be yourself. Wear jeans, be relaxed, show them you're not an *******... and you'll be fine. Be yourself. Best of luck, guys.
