        Re: Blue Cat

I already congratulated Boog elsewhere, so my main reason for posting in this thread is to say:

Hey, Twisto, long time no see. What's up?

        Remember me (as TonyRob)?
        I'm baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack!

            Hamboogul:

I've been away so I am a little late, but... Congratulations!

Remind me to check with you before I enter another contest to make sure you aren't entering it.

              Re: Blue Cat

I only entered 5 contests this year. And I don't plan to enter any more ever again.

But those that I did enter, I wholly recommend. I will plug them now.

              http://www.capeusa.org/foundation.html

This is the best contest that promotes Asians and Asian themed scripts. They have an awesome board of directors. They probably bleed money running this contest (which, for me, is the biggest criterion. If their true aim is to promote new writers, those are the contests I enter).

              http://www.bluecatscreenplay.com/

They give feedback on every entry. They probably bleed money, too. Plus, I plan to eat the bluecat they are going to give me.

Nicholl (no link because they don't need one)

Sundance (no link because they don't need one)

Disney (no link because they don't need one)

              So there you go.

                Re: Blue Cat

This is so cool! and you're the sole winner with your name bigger and brighter on the Blue Cat site than everyone elses!
                Congratulations!

Now..if you put as much shameless energy as you do promoting your blog on Done Deal in to promoting your win, then Hollywood will "get young" fast.

I entered too. Didn't make it as a semi-finalists, but I did receive great feedback (in terms of what they liked)....as someone on here said earlier, if they virtually only had good things to say, why didn't I make it.

I really got a lot out of that contest. I was impressed by their professionalism and thought that their coverage was very insightful and constructive. Gave me some good things to think about. I'd enter again.
