(If the above sounds cryptic, Bill's booth was right by the Tonight Show camera set-up.)

Cool! I'll be that big blur of a guy in the background of many of the pitches.

We know Mike made the first cut, and they called him again yesterday to ask a question. He asked if that means he'll be on the Tonight Show, and they said he has to watch Jan. 6 to find out.

He's got a great face, great smile, and
great way about him. (My god, I could
    be in love.)

I agree! Well, not the "in love" part, but Mike and Joan know I adore them both. Oooh-la-la!

    Keep us posted, Joan.

I won't know until it airs, sometime in Dec.

    Joan,

Did Mike's pitch make the Tonight Show cut?

    Thanks, Rosco.

It was also fun when we visited the booth where they're selling the DVD of Creative Exec's pitching event. Mike pitches in that, too, so the people working at the booth recognized him.

My writing partner pitched one of ours, Knuckle-Draggers, about an astronaut chimp with esteem issues who gets lost in the space-time continuum and comes back to Earth evolved. We'll see if it makes the cut.

i saw this on the tonight show before but at a tv writer's convention. they picked the most bizarre ideas to be featured on the show and then let the audience guess what sold and what didn't.....but, they all seemed wacked! so, if you have a wacky idea then go for it.

    babble on!
