    How nice of the indie minded Sundance to get behind a wet behind the ears type like total unknown John Leguizamo (yes, THAT John Leguizamo!). I'm sure the Institute along with his reps at the William Morris agency, Nine Yards/Roklin and The Collective will get this young upstart's career off the ground. I wonder if attending the Lab will effect the project John is attached to direct for Universal.

        If you read the current issue of Filmmaker Magazine you'll realize the Sundance Screenwriting Lab is really designed to help writer-directors tweak their scripts in preparation for the Sundance Directing Lab. Make a couple kick ass short films that play at big festivals and then submit your first feature project and see where that gets you ... that's my plan anyway.
