Which Are the Best Script Competitions (for a sci-fi script)?

There are so many script competitions out there, I could spend a fortune on endless applications.

I was therefore wondering if anyone could tell me which comps get the most industry respect and interest - ie which are the "best" to go for.

In addition to that, are there any that are particularly good for sci-fi scripts?

In this thread, I once answered a similar question about the genre of "horror" which quite often seems to combine with sci-fi for some of these more genre-specific contests or contests that offer the entrant a means for identifying with a particular genre (if that makes any sense).

We took a silver medal (actually a cardboard plaque) in the science fiction category last year for the PAGE International contest (www.internationalscreenwritingawards.com). I'd recommend taking a look at that one, especially since the deadline is just a few days away. It's a well run competition with some decent prizes, and we got a good number of requests out of it.
