Notes from the Traverse City Film Festival

I mentioned in another thread that I'm at the festival right now. I got to meet and chat briefly today with its founder, Michael Moore. Along with helping to revive MI's economy via the film industry, he's passionate about resurrecting the one-screen, locally run movie houses throughout the state.

If you haven't yet seen the documentary "The Cove," do yourself a favor. It is utterly, infuriating, inspiring, sickening, beautiful, heroic....

Jeff Daniels' new film, The Answer Man, is really funny!

Seeing "Departures" tomorrow - it's generating a lot of buzz.

Disagree, but respect your POV. Just to clarify, "The Cove" is not a Moore film.
