Re: Chadwick Clough's Script Pimp Teleconference

This is Chris Soth's teleconference -- Hollywood By Phone.

I've listened to the old conferences (made available to his mentees) and they are worth a listen. Will be calling in for this one as well.

podcast.com has several other freebies if you search screenwriting.

Chris Soth is top-notch; he's a friend and I respect all that he does, so I'd say definitely give it a listen. He always provides quality info. I've heard a few of his calls with industry peeps and they were very well-moderated and informative. (and he won't blast you with a million follow-up emails; maybe a few but you can always opt-out)

I'm not that familiar with Chadwick, so I'm curious to see what he has to say. Report back here after you listen if you get a chance!

C.C., are you the writer of "Horror Comic?" If so, I read your script and really enjoyed it. Email me and I'll tell you how I got it.

Re: Chadwick Clough's Script Pimp Teleconference

What I can't figure out is why limit the teleconference to being live?

Why not put the call on a podcast as well? Surely it wouldn't cost anymore, and get more people interested in whatever product he is selling.

I understand that he regularly releases the podcasts to a limited group, but that group is limited to the converted .. which surely defeats the purpose of preaching?

It's his setup, and he can run it anyway he wants, but it just seems like a curious limitation.

if it wasn't live then how could he answer your questions?

but anyway - i think they turn them into podcasts later. of course, i could be wrong.
