              Re: Nicholl winners

              Congrats!

Pure is a thing of rare beauty. I read it about 6 months ago on TS. Emailed the writer to say it was the best, non-repped script I'd ever read. So complete on every level.

He told me he was working on a script that took place not too far from my neck of the woods in England, so I helped him out with a few cultural references (as well as a description of our more foul dietry crimes)

Real nice guy, and I told him this was his year.

Golf movie or not, there is no way in hell we won't be seeing Pure on screen!

              Well done to the rest

Has anyone read any of them besides Pure?

Here's the log from Victoria Falls, from the AFI Conservatory website:

                  VICTORIA FALLS
                  Drama
Ojaji, an African farm hand, grew up along side his best friend Nico, a white Zimbabwean rafting guide, on a sugarcane farm in western Zimbabwe. In 2001, when President Mugabe unleashes a civil war along racial lines, Ojaji and Nico are pitted against one another as the country furiously unravels in violent clashes over the land, putting their friendship to the ultimate test.

And here's the log for PURE from Triggerstreet:

A talented young black golfer faces the racial challenges of the 1960s with the help of a reclusive former pro.
