  • DD'er places in Scriptshadow Contest!

Congrats, wcmartell! I was stoked when I saw that his script, "VOLATILE," placed third in the Scriptshadow contest.

    Check it out at http://scriptshadow.blogspot.com/

Re: DD'er places in Scriptshadow Contest!

          I was sure I'd end up #24.

Hey, maybe someone will want to be my agent or manager, now?

Anyone else from here? Where are #1 and #2 from? Congratulations to them, and thanks to Carson.

Eddy looks from the ticking LED to the stitches above it.

          EDDY
          Damned good work.

The stitches look professional. Glances at the LED and decides to try to remove
it. Picks at the stitches. It hurts like hell. Rips a few stitches out, tries
not to scream. Then a couple more come out on their own...

          And a couple more.
Blood trickles out, pushed by something...

Eddy suddenly fears all of the stitches will come out and his guts will spew
onto the dirty floor of the bus.

          EDDY
          No. No. No.

Eddy tries to put the lose stitches back into his skin.

You have trouble getting a manager as a working writer?

That's only 4 words, or did you have 5 and then you trimmed it to 4 after feedback? Good work.

                      Grats, Bill.

You know, that's some kind of irony - Bill claims he's looking for a manager or an agent, yet he's had more scrpts produced than most of us will ever have in a lifetime.

                      Gotta love Hollywood.
