The panel of noted filmmakers, led by writer John August, will focus on movies that feature very different genres, settings and time periods, including "Argo,- "Zero Dark Thirty- and the soon-to-be-released "Star Trek Into Darkness.- Using examples from the films they've worked on, the group will discuss how advances in technology and refinements in production methods have a powerful impact on the entire process of storytelling, from the development of a script through the finishing touches of post-production.
