My script was nominated for the Milan International Film Festival at the following link: http://filmfestinternational.com/
I've been invited to go to Milan and attend the festival, talking to people in the industry, with a final 'red carpet' party and awards show. I'm from the US and this would be VERY expensive for me to attend, but my script is very artsy and would probably be only made in Europe (it is a Dante script and I'd hoped it might find an interest from Italian studios).
Do you think this will provide many leads and is this an important festival? it's run by either Americans or Brits and they run festivals in London, Madrid and Tenerife. I'd really appreciate someone reviewing the site and telling me if this is a good opportunity to make real contacts or not.
