It looks like they want us to use the mobile web app:

You can create an account and personalize your schedule.

There are other suggested alternatives on the website:

          Re: Austin 2015

I got an email from AFF on Friday with several attachments, including a proof of this year's Producers Book. I'm supposed to review my info and make sure it's correct... but the file ends right before where I would have been listed, Scripted Digital Series Semifinalists.

If you also received this email, could you please let me know how many pages your copy was? I'm not sure whether there's a problem with the file they sent, or if I had a local email glitch that just affected me. My PDF was 29 pages long, including the cover, a blank page, and the TOC. The last page was numbered '26,' and contained the last three Scripted Digital Series Finalists.

          Thanks,
          Mitchell

Mitchell - my copy ends exactly how you described, on page 26.

Thanks, Paul! Nice to know it was a global issue. I wasn't sure whether or not to take it personally. :-)

I had sent Nathaniel an email about this Friday evening, and he sent me a copy with the extra 2 pages this afternoon.

                Re: Austin 2015

So this is going to be my first ever trip to the AFF. Really excited but also nervous. Not really sure what to expect. Quick question: are business cards still a thing? Should I bother trying to get some made for the festival? Or are people mostly doing phone contacts/social media stuff now?

                  Expect to have a blast.
Business cards are common. Some are quite elaborate. I would go simple: name, contact info.
                  Have fun.
Don't drink too much Friday night.

Agree with everything but the badge. It ain't necessarily so, and I'm going to two meetups that have more juice for me this year. Planning ahead can work just as well

Yup, good article - I agree that the producer's badge is nice and will make you feel more like you are part of everything, but isn't necessary, if you force yourself to be outgoing and have fun in the Driskill bar.

Definitely bring business cards for peer networking - otherwise we're not likely to remember how to get in contact with you (though you could add me on LinkedIn or whatever while we talk - that works just as well).

Main thing to remember is have fun and don't be worried about making your career in one weekend. It's about making lasting friendships, and bringing each other up as we rise (and we will, we're AFFers!)

I'm definitely interested in a DD meetup. Is the plan still Thursday night 10pm at the Driskill? I'm a comedy finalist, this is my first time at Austin - so I'm pretty damn nervous and excited...

My hotel is north of the conference sites (on Braker, which I believe is in southern Canada). I'll have a car, but I plan to take public transportation to get downtown each day. Do people bring their laptop bags to the conferences, or should I just carry a legal pad for note-taking?

PS - If you don't have business cards yet, you can get same-day cards at many Staples locations. You order/design them online, and they're B&W only. Color cards take at least 3 business days, and are delivery-only.

it's not really that kind of business convention vibe (IMHO). bring some paper if you feel compelled to take notes on the panels but they're all pretty casual, as is the mingling in the Driskill and other parties at night
