As announced here on DDPro, the Shore contest for shorts closes in a couple of days, and we don't have to wait a half a year to learn the result (D-Day, Jun-6-19):
For $40USD, the winner actually gets their short produced by professionals, along with the credit and exposure that's hard to buy with a one-off cash prize. And isn't that really more important than a few thousand bucks that you'd just spend on nonsense anyway, or may even have to claim for income tax?
