First contest I ever entered. My second script ended up a Semi-finalist, and they included a very nice quotable quote in notification letter, that I've used often when trying to sell it. I like this contest - but, I have no idea how much influence placing has on your career.

I read recently that the Scriptwriters Network contest has changed, such that they've consolidated their Hollywood Outreach Program and their Carl Sautter TV Contest. Don't know much more, but perhaps one of the SN Members might post morer information.
