Can anyone from there help with the following?

    - the name of a convention center in the city?
    - the name of an exclusive residential area (a gated community)?
    - the name of a lower-income residential area?
    - the name of an amusement park nearby?

    Thanks.

    Hello.

    1. The Moscone Center, often referred to as â€Mosconeâ€: â€The auto show is at Moscone.†Not to be rude (it is probably, but Iâ€TMm an old fart, so there you go), but you should have been able to find this by typing something like â€convention center San Francisco†into Google.

    2. Presidio Heights. Itâ€TMs not a gated community, but there is a little gated enclave up there somewhere. The area is home to most of the really, really impressive homes, and a few embassies.

    3. Everywhere is lower-income relative to Presidio Heights. The rougher neighborhoods are, the Mission (itâ€TMs a district, with a Hispanic/Latino feel, unfortunate stigma is gang activity), or Bay View/Hunterâ€TMs Point (projects; someone put a few bullets into a passing municipal bus recently), or the Tenderloin. To me, at night, the Tenderloin always looks an extra degree darker and dirtier than everything else.

    4. Thereâ€TMs â€Great Americaâ€, about an hour south, and â€Marine Worldâ€, about an hour east. San Francisco has a zoo; the only â€rides†are a miniature train and a merry-go-round.

      Hi TOS,
I figured I could get the info from Google but was also hoping someone nice like you would give me all those extra little details. You did. Thanks very much!
