    Problem is, all the smells. No smelly food allowed! I hate it when people sneak their stinky sandwiches, Chinese food, burritos and god knows what else into the theater. Stinks up the whole place. Really annoying!

      I usually get popcorn and if I'm with a female friend, have her smuggle in a Coke Zero in her purse, then ask for a cup of ice (I can't drink soda without ice). And yes, they often give me looks of suspicion.

        A while back some Berkeley theatres had homemade baked goods, like brownies, croissants, bagles with cream cheese, made to order cheese bagles, and bottled water, bottled juices, etc. Was wonderful, and not too smelly, either.

          if you do it, please tell people where the idea came from. i gotta get my props where i can, you know... ? i'm definitely not getting 'em as an educated shadow-person (ie., grunt) in the real world.
