Although my question is: would a vengeful man bent on world domination be kicking back with a book?

If the answer is "yes", then he could be reading a lot of different things, depending on the tone of the story or the writer's intention behind the fact that he is reading (to reinforce an aspect of him, add layers to the character, etc.)
