  • Metallic security doors that lower - what are those called? (for my script)

I can't for the life of me think of what these are called. In fortified rooms, such as in a safe room or panic room, it is those metallic (I think they are metal) bulletproof, keep the bad guys out, covers that lower from the ceiling or window. They used them in "The Purge" when it was time to fortify their house.

Any idea what these are called?

    Thanks

I would say security doors or fire doors. I don't know if there's an official name for them. You could say blast doors, but I think that implies they're a few feet thick.

          Rolling iron shutters
          Overhead security doors
Rolling security gates, grilles, folding grates
Industrial or commercial rolling steel doors
          Blast doors

          Hope this helps.
