And I also changed the title of that last script of mine you read. I'm not digging the new one too much, but, yeah, I don't need people trying to figure out when Arnold Schwarzenegger is going to make an appearance. (And if you've read so many that you can't remember that one, no worries. Made some minor tweaks, including gender, and we'll see what TrackingB says.)

Well I'm Facebook "friends" with Paris (because of our last name) and she's "friends" with Al Pacino, so if he's "friends" with Spielberg you're now damn close to being Steve's "friend" yourself.

I'm going to start off 2010 with a valuable piece of screenwriting advice for everybody:

Try to avoid your dog spilling a glass of water on your Macbook.

This is excellent advice. Also - if you are 2,000 miles from home and on a very tight deadline - do NOT spill a Diet Pepsi(r) in your PC laptop. Incredibly - once I dabbed the circuit boards and let it dry out, it fired right back up and I made that deadline!

Sorry to hear that Andrew. Still working on the next pass, and god can you help me elevate a script with some broad strokes. Good luck with the CPU.

I'll start the New Year with a valuable piece of advice on how to fix this--

There is a fix for this, and any other time an electronic device gets wet (e.g. a cell phone falls in a puddle). Seal the item in an air-tight plastic bag with rice inside for several hours. The rice safely draws the moisture from the device.

Rover drowned in the pool (I wondered where he had been gone for the last three days) so I tried this. Didn't work.

But we ate well that night. A little cream of mushroom soup, some broccoli florets...

(Is there a line? Did I pass that line? Is this why I have no friends?)

All's well that ends well. I took it apart, dried it out for 24 hours, and it booted right up. Amazing.

In the meantime, someone else told me about that rice trick. I'll try that next time, but I don't plan on there being a next time... My little dog hasn't been banned from my desk but liquids sure as hell have been.

Hope everyone had a fantastic Christmas/Hanukkah/Winter Solstice, and New Years!

If you can afford a dog then you're obviously charging too much. Lower your prices and get a gold fish.

Same project though: LOST PATROL @ Legendary Pics.

Hopefully, one of the other projects I have setup will make the trades this year too.

Thanks, Umo. With a bit of luck Variety will even spell my name right this time. LOL

BTW, everyone, my turnaround right now is 3-4 days. Wide open after Tuesday so grab slots while you can. Unfortunately, I have jury duty in a few weeks...
