I popped a bottle of bubbly when I got an 8. Getting two 10s is like getting struck by lightning and then walking to the liquor store and winning the lottery. Great job !

You should start to query managers, agents and low level execs from Blumhouse. Mention it's the top script on the BL with two 10s.

Congrats on the 10. As a note, I've gotten a 10 from an industry pro. It was nice when I got it, but I didn't think too much from it. And honestly, as much as I would like to think my script was that good, unless you're David Milch or something, no one should be getting 10's. I chalked it up to an overzealous assistant. I believe you'll get sent on the weekly email, and in the end you might get more views and downloads - which isn't a bad thing. Just keep it in perspective.

Emmy's are given out for lots of things, including advertisements, daytime talks shows, etc. Hopefully it is for writing, but it is still a great resume item no matter what it was awarded for.

I assume he wouldn't put an Emmy for costume design in his script information.

Or if it is for writing, what if it was won, like, a whole year ago. HW is a funny place.

    That said, an EMMY? Cool.

Why does it say your script won an EMMY?

I think it was word of mouth at first, and now with two 10's the script is now the top rated script on The Black List, so easy to find. The script is right at the sweet spot for low budget but high concept horror. Not slasher, but in the vein of Sinister, and others in that vein. Highly commercial.
