...commentary tracks on DVDs now we're streaming everything? Used to be a big part of my movie watch and some held fascinating insights into the whole movie making world.

Wonder what it costs to add a commentary track to a netflix/Disney/Amazon/etc stream and if that could be made a viable option for the streamers.

I absolutely do. I love commentary tracks and we still get DVDs from Netflix when possible with them. Also love deleted scenes, behind the scenes footage, etc.
