Listen carefully to the score from SECRET WINDOW. That is the work of a master-Phillip Glass.
That's far and away the best modern day score from a Thriller I'm aware of.
Also note the music from THE NINTH GATE. Very complementary to the film's story.

Then you must enjoy the score from DARK CITY as well, Slappsy.
Very cool and very weird.

I'll check it out, loved the movie never listened to the soundtrack... but I kept waiting for Riff Raff to burst into song throughout the movie.

Re: Your favorite soundtrack
The music from The Day The Earth Stood Still is kind of cool. I listen to it when I'm in a particularly "spacey" (ahem) kind of mood.

I used to listen to that soundtrack before games during high school football.
I don't think anyone mentioned "Oh Brother Where Art Thou"
Joan: What does the "T" stand for?
Jack: Trustworthy.

HUNTING HUMANS
and
KILLERS
. I haven't seen these films but liked his musical scores for them.

Re: Your favorite soundtrack
Requiem For a Dream has a haunting, excellent soundtrack from Clint Mansell and Kronos Quartet.
This isn't the Howard Johnson's.
