Mrs ED was asked to appear nude in this movie. I said I could only agree if I could be on set to see that she and all the other females were not being exploited.
Thanks, Adam, but I reserved my 1000 Post Mark for One on One. It's a Done Deal Tradition. Btw, mayonnaise and vinegar is THE best tanning lotion in the world. You'll get really dark if you can get past smelling like a douche.
Tell me stories, I've got nothing better to do on a Saturday afternoon.
I used to use Vichy tanning stuff until my sons(19 & 21) made fun of me , they said I looked like Lindsay Lohan.
Some producers wife from LA said I did look like Lindsay Lohan, then some old Italian Cholic gal said I did look kind of cute(meaning she said I did look like a gal).
I don't do drugs except for the odd time I go to Dicksons' Piano bar and grill on the Lakeshore in Toronto when the married gals coach me into smoking pot.
It's a strange bar because there is no piano and no grill even though the guy who runs it is from England and he's a classically trained pianist.
There were days when I drank alot after my divorce till my Jewish doctor said, "Dude, you have one more drink and your going to die!"
There is something about watching Johnny Depp on film especially "Edward Sciccorhands"
Had to throw that in since we are talking about the Libertine movie.
All I'll you(cause I know you've researchging witchcraft), is if you want to find GOD....you won't find him, However if you want to find proof of the Devil-you can. Just follow the signs.
"The Libertine" supposedlly is about one mans descent into his own personal hell.
I have no intetest in witchcraft even if Chapters books stores(a Canadian company with supposed ties to the Illuminati and the NWO), they are the equivalent of Barnes and Noble in the states, carries row upon row of witchcraft stuff.. never read.. have no interest in the subject.. I'm a non-believer.

I thoroughly enjoyed it. The combination of dark humor, self destructive behavior, and challenging of social norms was very entertaining to me. More a series of vignettes representative of Rochester's life than a cohesive narrative, this was definitely a character study far more than a plot driven movie.
I'm pretty sure ele and I saw different movies. This was definitely a comedy/drama. Funny as hell in a very dark way. And I completely disagree about it having "exceptionally bad cinematography" ... it was grainy and dark, but in a sepia old photograph way. This added substantially to the overall tone of the film. There were a few moments when the camera was intrusive, but for the most part, it was very nicely handled given the subject matter.
This is firmly an art house film and will never appeal to a broad audience, but I'm glad I saw it. I must say it's comical and completely in character to see Clary comparing this to Stealth.
