I just picked up I Am Sam for $4.99 at best buy. Heard mixed reviews, but I love all 3 main actors, so it can't be all bad.

Okay my latest buys of the month...

Arrested Development Season One and Two
        Wonder Boys
        Almost Famous
        Two Hands
        Man on the Moon
Brick (okay I confess I got this on bootleg but it wasn't showing around here and I promise that when it comes out on DVD I will buy it not just because I got a bootleg of it but because I think it's a great film)

Sounds like I need to take my a$$ to Best Buy.

September 15-October 31 is Horror Season for me, mind as well stock up on few dramas etc., before I go crazy for Halloween fright flicks.

Am I the only one here who hates to watch a movie twice 'cause I know what's gonna happen?

So I don't buy. Further proof of my oddball superiority, my I.Q. inferiority, and my love making skills' mediocrity.

Dp, love how you describe movies.

                Thank you,

Some movies are like an old sweater. You put them on to feel warm again.

Re: House of Flying Bulletproof Monks of Heaven

Lately I've been buying films with visual styles that I'd like to study even if the film isn't something I'd normally own.

Sorry, guys. My brain acts like it can think on its own sometimes and I gotta draw it back in. Studying films. I got'chu. I tend to study as I watch the one and only time, usually.

But I did lie a little earlier, if I'm flippin' channels and I catch one of my favorites in progress, I'll keep watchin', at least for a while.
