Timothy Olyphant is the "Hitman"

It's been announced that Timothy Olyphant has landed the title role in 20th Century Fox's "Hitman", the adaptation of the popular video game series of the same name. Vin Diesel was previously attached to the project but it's not widely known as to why that deal never succeeded. Scripted by Skip Woods, "Hitman" could break its way into theaters as early as next fall. I suppose this means one can expect Timothy to don a shaved and polished-for-that-extra-reflective-look head as soon as production commences.


Timothy Olyphant can next be seen as Bruce Willis' villain-to-beat in "Live Free or Die Hard", the fourth installment of the "Die Hard" franchise.

I'm a big fan of the "Hitman" series of video games. Looking forward to this. even though this Olyphant looks nothing like Agent 47.

Olyphant is Bullock on Deadwood. Good actor & very cute!

Anybody but Diesel. Can't stand that guy. The faster that guy fades in rearview mirror of HW, the better.

As cool as the games look, I've never played them. And this leads me to ask...why is a story called "Hitman" different than any other post-Tarantino hitman movie ever made?
