Before starting work on the seventh season of "24" in late July, Kiefer Sutherland will spend his latest hiatus shooting the horror remake "Mirrors", based on the 2003 Korean film "Into the Mirror". Writer/director Alexandre Aja will be by Kiefer's side at the helm of the project which will be distributed by 20th Century Fox and financed by New Regency. The storyline finds an ex-cop who now works security at a mall finding something not quite right with the mirrors of a department store. He inevitably tries to discover the origin of whatever evil is to be found. The movie starts production on May 1, 2007.
Considering his last theatrical effort, "The Sentinel", didn't do quite so well to say the least, not exactly sure this will turn out any better for Kiefer Sutherland. After completing work on the seventh season of "24" its expected that Kiefer will go right from shooting the show to shooting the movie "24".
